Ahoy there! I’m Captain Eric Moody, a native of coastal Georgia and a full time resident of Jekyll Island for 30 years with 20 of those years being spent as a fishing guide. Born in Savannah, Ga and growing up in Hinesville, I was always close to saltwater. You can say its in my blood. When I first moved to Jekyll from just up the coast my first job was as a waterski/wakeboard instructor at the now closed Ski Rixen Waterski Park where Tidelands Nature Center now resides. After its closing I did what most young people do at a tourist destination and started waiting tables and bartending. But around the early 2000s I decided to get serious and find myself a career on the water that I love so much.
